Born in Sweden, sustainability is in our roots

A century in the making

Electrolux was founded in Sweden in 1919, and we've been shaping everyday living for the better ever since. We're seen as an industry leader in sustainability; perhaps in part because it's in our DNA. We're determined to eliminate the barriers that prevent you from making more sustainable choices. Together, we can do what we must do for our planet.

Sustainability progress and promises

We've already made great strides towards reducing our environmental footprint. And we pledge to complete a bold list of actions by 2030 to better our company, the way we eat, the way we care for our clothes, and our home environments.

Shaping the future of home life, together

As we plan for tomorrow, we're turning toward the youth of today. We've assembled a team of change-makers, ages 15-20, to tell us their hopes and dreams. So we can help to make the future they want, and deserve, a reality.

Electrolux is a proud partner of The Nature Conservancy

We believe small, everyday changes make a big difference. When you register your Electrolux appliance, we’ll plant a tree on your behalf as a part of The Nature Conservancy’s Plant a Billion Trees campaign, a major forest restoration effort with the goal of planting a billion trees across the planet. Together, we can help shape a better future for our planet—the home we all share.*

*From January 1, 2021 to June 30, 2022, Electrolux will contribute $1.50 for every tree selected to TNC and its Plant a Billion Trees Program for a minimum of $100,000 and maximum of $300,000.
