Sustainable governance
Electrolux is grounded on an effective governance system, based on universal values for conducting business. It ensures that the same rules apply, no matter where in the world we operate or the circumstance that arises.

Our codes are founded on conventions of the International Labour Organization and the OECD Guidelines for Multinational Enterprises and further reflect our endorsement of the UN Global Compact's ten principles. In addition to the Code of Ethics, Workplace Code of Conduct, Policy against Corruption and Bribery, and Environmental Policy, Electrolux has a series of business-related policies addressing such issues as financial reporting and disclosure as well as human resources.

We have incorporated assessment tools and third-party monitoring that allow us to gauge our performance in relation to the Environmental Policy and Workplace Code of Conduct.

Understanding the concerns of consumers is central to the way we do business. Yet we are accountable, and strive to be transparent, to many more stakeholders —customers, employees, shareholders and others affected by our operations. Continuous dialogue with them also helps us anticipate non-financial risks and opportunities.
