Electrolux recently launched a new cycle on some of its AEG-Electrolux branded washing machines, which provides consumers an easy and convenient way to take care of dirty, smelly athletic shoes.
Washing tennis shoes or jogging shoes can be a hassle for people. They often need to be washed by hand, and it’s difficult to get them clean. Electrolux now has a solution to this consumer problem: a washing cycle for athletic shoes.
The "sports shoe" program is a mild washing cycle with higher water level and longer washing time than normal programs. The high-speed spin cycle leaves a shoe that dry quickly.
The washing machines come with two coarse woven bags that protect shoes from damage during the cycle and reduce noise from within when washing shoes.
The new washers from AEG-Electrolux were launched in May 2005 across Europe.
